Giving Thanks

Happy Turkey Day everyone!! Rich and I are hosting his parents for dinner at 1PM, which means we have to make sure our 23-lb turkey is in the oven by (gasp!) 7AM.
(Update: Rich woke me at 8AM, which means I am using the convection oven. Plus, it snowed!)

Menu
antipasta bowls of black olives and butter pickles
turkey (unstuffed)
seasoned cornbread stuffing
whipped potatoes in cream
sweet peas in butter
green bean casserole
turnips and squash
sweet potatoes
strawberry-rhubarb pie
peach pie
whatever dessert I decide to add (maybe a chocolate cake with whipped mocha?)
*Notice the lack of pumpkin since I am the only one who likes it*
