Is that my Mojo I Spy?
In trying to unclutter my cluttered life one piece at a time, I sat down late Friday evening and continued working on the Diamond Fantasy Shawl. So far, I am on my fourth set of repeats, and debating on knitting the required 6 for the scarf or the 10 for the full shawl. Since the shawl recipient Lorain is a bit petite, the wedding is in July, and the fact that I want to get other projects finished soon, the number 6 looks pretty good right now. But after seeing the Lace Leaf Shawl Kathy made for her mother, I think I had better knit 8 repeats at least!
And Bunner still does not have his face yet. I promise to work on it as soon as he tells me how he wants to look. Meanwhile, I am trying to finish cleaning up the baby petals bib I made for Brian’s newborn daughter. I just despise weaving in ends. And how much you ask? So much that I am reworking that “One Skein” pattern! =:8

Gosh, this is coming along so beautifully, it looks so elegant already in this gorgeous color. I personally think, after looking at the pattern and as you said the recipient is quite petite, that 6 reps would be best, perhaps that’ll help you decide?

Your Diamond Fantasy looks great…. from that distant. Take a close up, I wanna see!!! Lace shawls are so tedious. I am halfway through my lace leaf shawl and I just couldn’t go on with it. so it’s just sitting there. I mean, there’s like 5000 stitches on the needle now. Hmmff!!!!! I also just put you on my blog roll. I need to get me some bunnies!!!
Oh gosh, that’s a hard call. Just knit with 6 as your goal and then knit one at a time after that until you’re not in the mood anymore. That’s what I did with mine and it worked out well. I think I did something like 11 repeats. I can’t wait to see it finished.
