Hope with Music and Bunny Love
Spread the loveThe painful grief last week was doubled with the dismal skies and constant deluge. When the rains lifted on on Thursday, my healing process began, and the heavy welts stopped hurting on Sunday night. I can gladly state that the past few days have been very positive in my emotional baggage department. On…
Bleeding Orange and Maroon
Spread the loveThis week has been heartbreaking, and now anger is slowly replacing half of the sadness in my emotional goblet. In Blacksburg, many knots are being untied, and many strings are being unraveled. The more details I hear about the shooter and the reactions around the nation, the more I grieve. What frightens me…
How to Say Adieu
Spread the loveAfter being cooped up at home all week, I was itching to break out of the house. Except for some packages I had to drop at the post office, I pretty much slept and rested. When the opportunity to meet up with Carine and Nancy on Saturday morning for breakfast and shop raiding,…
Facing Fears on Fridays
Spread the loveI know I am reiterating a past post with this topic, but I have become quite cynical and untrusting enough to leave my home except for “safe” places. Let’s Talk about “S”
Spread the love As I have said before, Spring is in the air and I have been inspired by the cool crisp sunny days alternating with the sleeting freezing ones. This work week was no exception, and I am glad the weekend is finally here. While working after-hours, I managed to squeeze in time for…

Two years? It still feels like yesterday to me, seeing this tragedy pierce the hearts of millions.
I’m glad you said something- I think I’ll give my wonderful goat vet a call- she graduated from there just a few short years before. I hope the families, friends, and everyone who was affected is able to find some peace.
I was visiting Washington DC after the tragedy and happen to be at the National Catherdral the day of the Memorial Service held there. At one of the hotel lobbys near the White House there was a memorial table dedicated to the students who died. As a visitor from California I was honored to be able to pay my respects to these young people. I hope the families are healing from their losses, though they will never forget.
