That is horrifying! Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, families and students; I can’t even get my mind around the whole catastrophe.
You have my sympathies. It was a shock when it happened in Great Barrington, too. And you know you can’t do a damn thing about it having happened, really, other than try to help others deal, and yourself.
That said, anything I can do?
What an awful story. My thoughts are with all the victims.
I saw this today on the Internet at work. The numbers kept going up and up and the day went on.
They are still trying to identify bodies. Can you imagine if you were a parent waiting to hear?
This is so awful. I’ll do some chanting for them (and you) at the Zen Center tomorrow night.

Oh my gosh, I had no idea you are an alumni from there. It’s such a sad and disturbing story – and I’m sure it’s a million times worse for all who have gone to that school. Take care of yourself.
It took me until this evening to remember who it was that I read who went to VA Tech. I’m so sorry for how it’s going to change how you feel about your school.
