Engagement x 2 = Double Wedding Bliss
Absolutely FABULOUS news!!! Both Cathy and Lisa are engaged, and the questions were popped almost at the same time. Wow! 🙂
Lisa had IM’d me with the good news on Monday the 12th. She and Jason had gone up to Ogunquit, ME for the weekend, and he proposed during a night-time stroll on Marginal Way. She sent me to a site with pictures of the peaceful place. They are planning to have the wedding in her home state of Vermont. Rich and I are looking forward to that weekend especially since I have never been up there before.
Cathy’s proposal happened last weekend, and she hit me with the news on Monday the 19th. She and Dave had gone to see the Waterfire out in Providence. They were standing halfway on the basin ramp watching as the fires were being lit on the river and he just popped the question for perfect timing. Because Cathy is from upper-state New York and Dave is from New Jersey, they decided to have the wedding in Rhode Island. Another fun weekend is in store for us.
