Dash of Massachusetts: Woolpack Yarns in Acton – Knit Talk 2011/06/02
When I drove to the outskirts of Boston, I was anticipating a lot. Not only was I going to meet up with my longtime friend ErickaJo of the “Armed with Pointy Sticks” blog, but I was going to see some really fun people at a REALLY fun shop. You would think that I had been at the Woolpack before with the feelings that I had. Actually I had visited their booth at the last STITCHES East and knew immediately that I wanted to visit them when given a chance. I mean, how cool is it to have a lemonade stand as your register in a booth?
Upon walking into the Woolpack, there was no disappointment to spoil my expectations. Warmly greeted, I was left to investigate the shop’s displays, and found much to excite the yarn-lover in me. The creative energy of the crew is apparent and I felt recharged as I walked around.
One definite positive about Woolpack is the comfortable feeling you have whether you want to knit or get help.
