After a Bug

Spread the love

For the past two weeks, I have not been able to write due to SlytherBun and myself catching a darn bug which unfortunately still has me at its whim. During that time I managed to knit a shawl for BFF’s cousin, something that will be in an upcoming book, and a bunny-sized sun visor for the Ravelry Harry Potter Knit Crochet House Cup (aka HPKCHC). Last night I finished clue 1 of a crocheted cowl also for HPKCHC. If you add the Bunny Scrum that I knitted for Tess’ Designer Yarns‘ Maryland Sheep and Wool booth, I have been a bit busy this month with my hands. Admittedly I am rather proud of these items and hope all will be as adored as much as I love them.

Now that I am mostly over the bug and these projects I can concentrate on knitting my Corset. Have you selected your yarn yet? My plan is to knit the second corset in a worsted/aran from my stash and I have been eyeing a few contenders. An obvious one would be the Lion and Lamb silk/wool blend in pink, but I am not sure if the Whisper colorway would work for my accountant. There is a semi-tonal green that could work, and also a couple of variegated blends. Hmm… Looks like I need to dive back and check again.

Until then, here’s an angry Tessie modeling her sun visor.

Be seeing you! =:8
