Tonight I was able to finish sewing up Cathy’s lace mitaines. All that time obsessing spent over the design and yarn paid off! Unlike Lisa’s lime-green cabled mitaines which I envisioned her wearing while driving back and forth to Vermont, Cathy’s were made for the office. I used the same Horstia yarn in a nice mulberry/grape color, which fit her autumn shades (check out that sweater!) to a tee. And… I have pictures!
