Bunnies and Knitting, Ohhhh — MY!
Spread the loveI apologize up front for such a long post. I really want to cover what I have missed talking about this week. I do hope you enjoy these wordy adventures. I think this entry should make up for the amount of writing I have been ignoring lately! Visiting my cousin’s family on Sunday…
“Bring your Favorite Red”
Spread the loveA dish of munchable goodness and a bottle of red wine were requested in an email for the casual meet up of red wine fanciers. The location listed Thursday, September 3rd, at Ray Martin’s home. Wondering what to bring, I stumbled upon a fabulous food market, Bridgetown Meats and Catering, and to my…
A Solemn Anniversary Unfocused
Spread the loveToday I had a plan. The plan was to head up to Boston after my usual routine of dropping Richie at his work and feeding the bunnies. Instead I ended up taking a desperately needed nap which started me three hours later than expected. Noting the traffic, I did some quick calculations of…
Exchanging into Summer
Spread the loveThe past two weeks have been a mite busy. As usual Ravelry and knitting suck up my attention, then work and the daily commute take up the rest. Two years? It still feels like yesterday to me, seeing this tragedy pierce the hearts of millions.
I’m glad you said something- I think I’ll give my wonderful goat vet a call- she graduated from there just a few short years before. I hope the families, friends, and everyone who was affected is able to find some peace.
I was visiting Washington DC after the tragedy and happen to be at the National Catherdral the day of the Memorial Service held there. At one of the hotel lobbys near the White House there was a memorial table dedicated to the students who died. As a visitor from California I was honored to be able to pay my respects to these young people. I hope the families are healing from their losses, though they will never forget.
